Made from marine-grade 316 stainless steel with a polished finish. It offers excellent corrosion resistance for both freshwater and saltwater environments.
This slam latch features a D-style pull-up ring handle for quick, one-handed operation. It provides positive latching with compression to reduce vibration, rattling, and water ingress. The locking version includes a keyed lock for added security. The handle flips up for release and slams shut for closure. The design is flush-mounted and low-profile when closed to minimize snags.
It installs securely with the included "L" keeper (strike plate) for use on hatches, doors, compartments, and access panels where a durable locking slam latch is required.
